In addition, 27 Afghan check posts were reportedly completely destroyed during the military action. Pakistani forces are also said to have taken control of nine Afghan posts, where the Pakistani flag has since been hoisted, symbolizing territorial control and operational success.
Furthermore, Pakistan reportedly captured five additional Afghan posts in the Paktia region of Afghanistan and raised its national flag at those locations. The developments mark a significant escalation in tensions along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Officials maintain that the operation was launched as a defensive measure to safeguard Pakistan’s territorial integrity and to counter cross-border hostilities. The situation remains tense, with heightened military alertness on both sides of the border.
